Community support needed

While a majority of the financing for the new hospital in Concordia has been awarded by the USDA, the Cloud County Health Center (CCHC) board of trustees and foundation will be raising private funds for required matching community support.

CCHC board chairman Phil Gilliland says a more detailed fundraising plan will roll out later this fall.

"We hope to provide gift levels to allow every interested person to make a contribution to the future of health care in Cloud County," Gilliland says. "We will have naming opportunities for different parts of the facility for large dollar contributions and recognition opportunities for our smaller donors."
